Jane Dobson becomes District Chairman.
At the Installation ceremony held at the Lancaster Hall Hotel on 12 July 2010, Jane Dobson, the fourth District Chairman from the Inner Wheel Club of Chelsea & Westminster, was installed as District Chairman of Inner Wheel in London D.13, by the outgoing District Chairman Valerie Bunn.
At the meeting, the new District Executive were handed their badges of office (see a photo HERE).
During 2009-10 District Chairman Valerie's charity for the year was Children at Great Ormond Street Hospital suffering from Leukaemia and at the meeting IPDC Valerie handed over a handsome cheque, the results of the District's fund raising activities for 2009-10, to Martin Harris of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity Kiss it Better Appeal for research into childhood leukaemia
District Chairman Jane has decided to support the Downs Syndrome Association.
Rotary in London's new District Governor David Storrie brought greetings from the Rotarians in London and is looking forward to working with Jane during the coming year. He announced that to ensure the Rotary 'family' works together he has invited IPDC Valerie Bunn to sit on the Rotary in London District Services Committee.
